A Bit About Bible Class
For ages 11+, the Bible Class explores how we can develop our relationship with God. Meetings are informal and usually led by Tanya or Elaine. "Constructive Rewards" in the form of juice, biscuits, tea or coffee are a regular feature and enjoyed by all."Bible classes meet every Sunday morning during the church service and are for young people aged between 11 and 15. It's quite a task to keep 8 - 10 loud teens under control every week and prepare lessons that they will enjoy and not find to childish, though most of the time the more childish the task - the more we enjoy it!
Issues that are covered include Junior Alpha, Friendships, Studies of various Bible Characters as well as other topics that are interested and varied. Discussion is usually lively, with everyone getting a chance to put forward their point of view on any topic without fear of what others will say. All in all Bible class is very enjoyable and the friendships that are formed there, lead into other groups throughout the church.
